In short
We collect what's needed to run your account and publish your articles. We don't sell your data, your email stays private, and your articles and author profile are public by design. You can request deletion any time.
Information we collect
- Account information: first name, last name, email address, password (stored hashed), and the website URL you optionally provide.
- Content you publish: articles, author bio, profile photo, and comments.
- Usage data: pages visited, referring pages, approximate location derived from IP, browser and device type, collected through cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager).
How we use it
- To operate your account, publish your articles instantly, and display your author profile.
- To run automated checks on submissions and moderate published content.
- To understand traffic and improve the platform.
- To prevent spam and abuse.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your email address with other users or advertisers.
Cookies
We use cookies for login sessions and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; login will not work without session cookies.
Public content
Articles, your author name, bio, photo and website link are public by design and are published instantly when you submit. Do not include personal information in your articles or profile that you do not want public.
Data retention and deletion
You can request deletion of your account and personal data by emailing contact@azarticle.com. Authors can edit or delete their own published articles at any time from the dashboard.
Third parties
We use Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager for traffic measurement and Microsoft Azure for hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Children
AZArticle is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date.
